21 Years Ago Everybody Was Buying The New Pearl Jam Album

Pearl Jam released their second studio album Vs this week in 1993. The collection set the record for the most copies of an album sold in its first week, a record it held for five years and the album was number one on the Billboard 200 chart for five weeks.

Pearl Jam didn’t produce music videos for any of the album’s singles. Just imagine what the album sales would have been with music visuals.The story goes that the album cover photo was used by Pearl Jam to show how the record company was trying to fence them in.Every time I see the album cover I think of my angora goat herd.
