Pink Floyd started work on their eighth album this week in 1973. The album didn't have a title when the band entered the Abbey Road Studios in London. When all was said and done the collection would end up being called 'Dark Side Of The Moon' and the rest is rock and roll history.
The album is one of the best selling albums of all time here in the U.S.A. and would end up being on the Billboard album chart for over two years.
