May 9, 1974, Bonnie Raitt headlined a concert at Harvard Square Theatre in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The opening act for Bonnie was Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band. Normally an opening act has 45 minutes or maybe hour on stage but Bonnie told Bruce to perform his regular two-hour set. In the In the audience that night was Rolling Stone Magazine writer Jon Landau who wrote after seeing the show "I have seen rock & roll's future and his name is Bruce Springsteen". Jon was so impressed he would later become Bruce’s manager.
