Aerosmith In Legislative Battle In Massachusetts

There’s the beginnings of a political argument in Massachusetts over what should be the official rock song of Massachusetts . "Roadrunner" by Jonathan Richman and the Modern Lovers now officially have a challenge on their hands from Aerosmith and "Dream On".

Rep. Josh Cutler and Rep. James Cantwell filed legislation that would make the official rock song Aerosmith’s "Dream On".

Representative Cutler calls it a "classic ballad that's all about holding on to your dreams and seizing opportunity."

Representative Cantwell said, "With all due respect, Aerosmith is the best-selling American rock band of all time. No band is more closely associated with Massachusetts."
