DALTREY HAD PRECANCEROUS GROWTH REMOVED

When The Who performed at the 2010 Super Bowl halftime show, many fans were critical of singer Roger Daltrey’s voice, but it turns out that just a few weeks before the gig, the rocker had a precancerous growth removed from his vocal cord. Roger told CBS Los Angeles last month that in 2009, it was becoming hard for him to sing, so he went to a doctor, who noticed the growth. While it wasn’t cancer, it was precancerous and was removed a week before Christmas 2009. Roger now checks in with the doctor after every tour. Read more at CBSLocal.com.
