Lovers of classic horror films will be able to join together for Halloween Week 2013 when the inaugural "Ship of Fear: A Horror Cruise," sails from Miami to the Bahamas and back. Musical entertainment on the cruise will be provided by two stars who were clearly influence by the genre, Alice Cooper and Dee Snider of Twisted Sister.

Promising to be a "bloody good time," the Ship of Fear will feature the stars and directors from some of the most famous horror films of the past 30 years, including 'Child's Play,' 'The Howling' and 'Pet Semetary,' for panels and Q&As. There will also be 24-hour screenings of horror movies, a Monster Museum and a Zombie Prom, complete with a costume contest judged by an unnamed celebrity guest. The cruise will be hosted by Tom Holland, director of 'Fright Night' and 'Child's Play.'

The Ship of Fear will depart from Miami on Oct. 28, 2013 and make three stops in the Bahamas - Nassau, Half Moon Cay and Freeport - before returning to Florida on Nov. 2. Cabin prices range from $729 to $3,599, with rates increasing after Dec. 31, 2012. Plans are available for those wishing to pay in installments.
