A 20-year-old man has been charged with stealing from Bob Seger's home during a party thrown by his teenage daughter.

Andrew D. Thompson from Waterford Township was charged Tuesday with larceny in the August theft. Thompson "admitted bad judgment" and returned items including an autographed Reebok tennis shoe from Shaquille O’Neil, money and a Rolex watch. He’s charged with larceny in a building.  His attorney says Thompson will take full responsibility for his actions.

Police say the theft wasn't immediately noticed because Seger's family was moving to another home. Police say a 1978 Gibson Les Paul guitar believed taken from the home at the same time was returned in May.
