High School artists from around Lapeer County have their work on exhibit at Gallery 194 now through Saturday, May 11th. A reception that is free and open to the public will take place Saturday, May 4th from 4pm to 6pm at the gallery featuring these talented student artists.

A giant egg laid by a now-extinct elephant bird sold for $104,482 at an auction in London.
The egg is nearly nine inches wide and 12 inches high. The rare partially fossilized egg is more than 100 times the size of a chicken.
