I was born and raised in Flint, attending Holy Redeemer High School, Mott Community College, and I have degree in Liberal Arts from the University of Michigan-Flint. I'm also a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving from 1968-1972, and an avid racquetball player that enjoys his workouts at Hurley Health & Fitness Center. I joined Cars 108 and work in multiple roles as Operations Manager and Program Director. I assumed the Program Director role for WQUS (US1031) in 2012.

Psych Testing Complete on Suspected Lapeer Bank Robber
Lapeer County prosecutors will be making a decision soon on what to do with Dustin Jenkins. He is accused of robbing the Lapeer County Bank & Trust's Elba Township branch in March. His attorney had asked for a psychiatric evaluation at the State center for Forensic Psychiatry in Ypsilanti.

Lapeer County Jobless Rate Still Too High
Overall, the unemployment rate in Michigan has edged steadily downward. Last week it dropped slightly to 7.4%, however the story is different in Lapeer County than for the rest of the state. The March jobless rate in Lapeer dropped to 11.2%, down a full percentage point from the previous month, but it is still far above the state average.

Almont Teens Face Kidnapping Charges
Three Almont teens were arrested at a hospital in Wickenburg, Arizona last Wednesday afternoon. Almont Police Chief Pat Nael said that police arrested two brothers, Daniel and Brian Turnquist, ages 17 and 19, on kidnapping warrants issued by the Lapeer County Prosecutors Office. The boys were with Jordan Cole, an Almont 14 year-old whose parents reported her missing the previous Sunday.
