If you really think about it, Mother's Day is the perfect opportunity to make up for all those times you gave mom a hard time during your youth. After all, a bouquet of daffodils now definitely excuses that time you snuck out of the house at 2 am. And a box of gourmet truffles? The perfect antidote to the antique china you broke while running around like a wild banshee.
But while flowers and chocolate are dandy, they don't last long. Treat Mom to one of these five Mother's Day gifts she'll both use and love for years to come:
While the Easter bunny is generally well-regarded for its fluffy belly, alert ears and too-cute buck teeth, some humans just aren't so fond of the creature. We're talking about young kiddos who -- when faced with the giant creature every Easter holiday -- erupt into a fountain of tears, traumatic screams and eyes bulging out of their sockets.
It's almost as if adults just want a little entertainment for the day. So, come Easter, they encourage a little PTSD by way of bunny rabbit.

Ben Higgins, the sports director for San Diego's ABC affiliate, was in Tucson, Arizona on Thursday, where he covered San Diego State University's first ever NCAA tournament victory.
But what made his report so memorable was the part when a SUV darn near ran him over as the cameras rolled. Luckily for Higgins, the vehicle stopped just in the nick of time.
Since videos of television reporters actually being struck by things are fun too, we've included a bunch those after the video of Higgins' close call.
Check them out after the jump, and feel free to laugh because none of the reporters were seriously injured (phew!).
Movie titles aren't just picked out of hat, it turns out. In fact, they almost always have something to do with the movie itself (they do indeed go back to the future in "Back to the Future").
This supercut features two minutes of 80 movie characters saying the actual title of the movie.

Monday night on 'WWE Raw,' Jersey Shore Oompa Loompa Snooki Polizzi overcame her diminutive size and lack of professional wrestling experience to put a serious beat down on WWE stars Michelle McCool and Layla.
It was all to promote the pay-per-view event WrestleMania XXVII, which will feature Snooki and her tiny fists-of-fury on the fight card.
The world's foremost (and self-proclaimed) "guidette" is far from the first celebrity to step into the pro wrestling ring. Read on to see videos of Snooki and a host of other bold face names doing the fake fighting thing. It's fake, right? Right?
