Be Part Of Link Up Lapeer On Saturday

The Main Street Steering committee and Lapeer DDA is looking for your help. They're looking for as many people as possible to fill the sidewalks of downtown Lapeer on Saturday, January 21, beginning at 9:30am to help film a promotional video for downtown tied into the Main Street efforts and Link Up Lapeer campaign.
Downtown business owners and volunteers have been busy creating long segments of paper chain.
Beginning at 9:30am downtown business owners will be out in front of their businesses along side their employees, friends, family, volunteers, and hopefully you. The goal is to connect all of the segments of chains to make one long continues paper chain held up by members of the community. The chain will run on both sides of Nepessing Street from Saginaw to Mason St. (by the Post office). Literally "Linking Up Lapeer!"
Just after 10am a drone will take off and fly along Nepessing Street capturing the whole thing on video.
Bring the family down, invite your friends and neighbors, share this event, and help showcase downtown Lapeer in a unique way.
