The never ending construction project on Belsay Rd in Burton is going to cause a few more headaches this summer.

The problems won't be nearly as bad as they were when Belsay was completely torn up during the first parts of this project.

According to ABC12, MDot will begin paving the median on Belsay over I-69, which will leave only one lane open on either side of Belsay Rd.

The bigger problem is that this will cause some lane closures on I-69 in both directions as needed.

Another major part of the project is that the entrance and exit ramps for Belsay Rd and I-69 will all be closed.

Things are scheduled to be wrapped up in October, which means a long summer of orange barrels for drivers.  Another project is scheduled to start on Lapeer Rd. and I-69 in July.
