This year’s Download Festival closed out last night (June 10) with an 18-song set from the (partially) reunited Black Sabbath that included a capacity crowd, a wide-ranging set list, and fireworks.

Warming up the set with a slideshow acknowledging their long history, the band kicked things off, appropriately enough, with ‘Black Sabbath.’ As the NME reports, Ozzy Osbourne didn’t have a lot to say between songs, but he did take time to pay tribute to guitarist Tony Iommi, telling the audience, “The guy on the stage I’ve known for most of my life, and he’s one of the strongest guys I know.”

Osbourne also took a moment to reflect on Sabbath’s career at one point, musing, “When we first formed 40 odd years ago, I had no idea we’d be here doing this.”

Black Sabbath’s latest reunion was hotly hyped last year, but quickly fell victim to medical difficulties (Iommi announced his cancer diagnosis, and subsequent treatment, shortly afterwards, which vastly curtailed the band’s planned touring commitments) and contractual squabbles (drummer Bill Ward has refused to participate, citing an unsatisfactory contract offer). Still, for some fans, some Sabbath is better than none; the NME’s review included a quote from one festivalgoer who ended up laying on the ground after the set, pronouncing it “genuinely life-changing.” Take a look at the complete set list below.
