Bon Jovi, Aerosmith to Play 2012 IHeartRadio Festival

Bon Jovi and Aerosmith are among the heavy hitters that will participate in the second annual IHeartRadio Music Festival. The event will be held  at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino’s Grand Garden Arena on Sept. 21-22.

Hosted by Ryan Seacrest, the festival will put many of the best-selling acts in the music business today on the same stage. In addition to Bon Jovi and Aerosmith, the festival’s lineup includes Taylor Swift, Lil Wayne, Miranda Lambert, Deadmau5 and Rihanna.

“The iHeartRadio Music Festival is a unique celebration of music — it’s the biggest names in the industry coming together for an impressive weekend of live entertainment,” said Seacrest. “The momentum, energy and music experience around the inaugural iHeartRadio Music Festival was incredible, and I’m excited to be a part of this must-see event.”

Last year’s festival was timed to coincide with the launch of the IHeartRadio digital music service, which currently has more than 10 million registered users.
