Boogie At The Pix Tonight With Mr. B

Blues and boogie-woogie pianist, Mark Lincoln Braun, will perform tonight (1/23) at the PIX Theatre at 7:30 PM. Mr. B was born and raised in Flint but gravitated to Ann Arbor in the seventies where the Blind Pig was an important venue for boogie and blues piano. He learned directly from blues and boogie legends like Little Brother Montgomery, Boogie Woogie Red and Blind John Davis. Today, there aren't many devoted to playing boogie and blues piano but fortunately for us Mr. B is one of them. Advance ticket prices are $15 ($13 Senior/Student) and $19 ($17 Senior/Student) at the door.
