Bruce Gets The Presidential Medal of Freedom

Bruce Springsteen will be receiving the 2016 Presidential Medal of Freedom from President Obama today. Bruce is among 21 honorees to get the award including Diana Ross, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Michael Jordan, Ellen DeGeneres, Lorne Michaels, Tom Hanks, Robert Redford and Cicely Tyson.
The Presidential Medal of Freedom is the highest U.S.A. civilian honor, presented to individuals who have made especially meritorious contributions to the security or national interests of the United States, to world peace, or to cultural or other significant public or private endeavors.
The awards will be presented today at the White House and the ceremony will be streamed live online.
