The Boston Bruins blew through 39 years of Stanley Cup futility, by beating the Vancouver Canucks in game seven of the series: 4 to 0 last night. Davison’s Tim Thomas made 37 saves in the second shutout of his landmark finals performance, Patrice Bergeron and rookie Brad Marchand scored two goals apiece. Thomas, who is 37 years of age was named MVP and the oldest Conn Smythe Trophy winner in NHL history. NICE WORK TIM THOMAS!
