Legendary Grammy-winning bluesman Buddy Guy and blues guitarist Jonny Lang will perform at Meadow Brook Amphitheatre on Saturday, July 8th. Tickets go on sale this Friday, April 7.

Buddy Guy is a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, a major influence on rockers like Hendrix and Clapton. A pioneer of Chicago’s Blues. Buddy has received six Grammy Awards, 34 Blues Music Awards (the most any artist has received), the Billboard magazine Century Award for distinguished artistic achievement and the Presidential National Medal of Arts. Rolling Stone Magazine ranked him as one of the “100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time.”
His latest studio album, Born to Play Guitar, earned him a 2016 Grammy Award for Best Blues Album.
Joining Buddy on the bill is guitar slinger Jonny Lang. In 1997 Jonny came on the scene when he was 16 years old with the smash album 'Lie To Me'. Over the years he's shared the stage with Rolling Stones, B.B. King, Aerosmith and Sting.
