Auditions are going on today (3/31) for Lapeer Community Theatre’s production of "Pride and Prejudice." Based on the book “Pride and Prejudice” that was first published in 1813. Over two hundred years later, the Lapeer Community Theatre is holding auditions today from 6 pm – 9 pm at the Pix Theatre in downtown Lapeer for an upcoming performance of the classic tale. The adventures of the Bennet sisters and the wit, romance and verbal battles of this classic novel still captivate audiences. A copy of the script is available at the Marguerite deAngeli Library in Lapeer. LCT is seeking eight females and six males. No prior acting experience is necessary. Rehearsals will take place on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings at the Pix. Performance dates are May 16-19 and May 23-25.
