Just when you think you’ve heard it all, expelled former lawmaker Cindy Gamrat held a campaign fundraiser yesterday nearly 150 miles from her former district at Hideaway Lanes in Almont. Some were not supportive and say they’ve had enough of the political drama she and Courser created for Lapeer County. “I think it's ridiculous, plain and simple” said Robert Kay who lives in Lapeer. “I wouldn't participate with anything with either of those two.” Gamrat has family in the Almont area.
