Lapeer Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Christmas Parade "The 12 Days of Christmas" is Saturday December 5 at 11 AM. All entry fees and gifts will be donated to Holiday Depot of Lapeer County. If you aren't participating in the parade but would like to make a cash donation or donate a toy you can drop them off or mail it to the Chamber office
It's Fish Fry Dinner time tonight at the Lapeer VFW on Daley Road. Every 1st and 3rd Friday of the month from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Enjoy fish, potato, salad, roll, beverage and desert $9.00 for dine in (+1.00 to go). Children under 12 dinner is $5.00.
Lunch or dinner? Turkey and all the trimmings will be served at the Attica United Methodist Church on Thursday, November 5 (11/5), from 12 PM to 2 PM and from 5 PM to 7 PM. The cost is $9 for adults and $5 for children 5-12 years old. Children 5 and under are free.

A lecture and visual presentation following the timeline of events in Michigan leading to the bird's extinction will be given by Al & David Eicher.
An escort along a lit trail to meet creatures of the nighttime forest awaits you at Seven Ponds Nature Center in Dryden tomorrow evening (10/3) from 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM. How about a walk in the forest of Jonathan Woods on Sunday (10/4) at 2 PM? The Enchanted Woodland is a non-scary, fun experience for children 4 years old and up and their adults as well as the young at heart.
Take one more walk through the prairie this Sunday (9/27) at 2 PM before winter’s harsh weather blankets Seven Ponds Nature Center. How about a Fall Bird Walk? The center’s second walk will take you to the Lapeer State Game Area next Wednesday (9/30) at 7:30 AM.
