December 7, 2012 Take some time today to possibility save a life. The American Red Cross Blood Drive is goin on today from 1pm until 6:45pm at the Arcadia Township Hall in Lum on Spencer Street.

November 30, 2012 Get into the holiday spirit in downtown Lapeer with Winterfest. Stop by and visit Santa at his newly renovated house. Shop at the Winter Market under the Farmers Market pavilion. Enjoy the Christmas Tree Lighting and Sing –a-long Friday evening at the Courthouse Square then take a Christmas Treat Walk downtown and receive some goodies.
Santa officially arrives on Saturday with the Christmas Parade getting underway at 11am.

Enjoy the 15th annual Holly Day Light Parade vehicles, tractors, floats decked out with colorful holiday lighting. The parade begins at 7 p.m.
Before the parade join in for Christmas carols and a holiday sing-along at the Pocket Park.

Visitors can enjoy turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, vegetables, stuffing, dessert, coffee and everything else that comes with the traditional holiday feast.
