 December 17, 1969 Tiny Tim married Miss Vickie on "The Tonight Show starring Johnny Carson". Tiny Tim and Miss Vickie had a daughter, Tulip. Then in 1977 they divorced. Tiny Tim was unique even in death. He died Saturday, November 30, 1996. He died as he lived, performing "Tiptoe Through the Tulips"

Rememebering Otis Redding

 

On this day December 10,1967, the world lost to my point of view one of the greatest soul singers ever Otis Redding.  Otis and four members of the R&B band the Bar-Kays were killed when their tour plane crashed into Lake Monona near Madison, Wisconsin. Otis Redding was just 26, and his posthumous single "(Sittin' On) The Dock Of The Bay" hit #1 soon after his death.
