Celebrating 50 Years Of The Community Mental Health Act!

You’re invited to an open house this Thursday October 31st from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Lapeer County Community Mental Health on Suncrest Drive in Lapeer.  Celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Community Mental Health Act signed into law by President John F. Kennedy on October 31, 1963.  Enjoy refreshments and learn the history of mental health in Michigan. The event will also be the kick off of a new project called “The Great Michigan Read”.
