With colder weather coming on the scene and the temperatures going down, rats are looking for a warm place to stay for the winter. It looks like the most popular city for rats to seek shelter from the cold is the Windy City of Chicago. This is the fourth year in a row for city to claim the not desirable title.

The National Pest Management Association reports rodents enter an estimated 21 million homes in the U.S. each winter.

According to pest control service Orkin, they ranked metro regions by the number of new rodent treatments performed from September 15, 2017 – September 15, 2018. This ranking includes both residential and commercial treatments.
