Derek & the Dominos classic album Layla And Other Assorted Love Songs seems to always land on those "best album of all time" lists, and for good reason.  It probably is!  Especially when you consider it's historic significance.  It's when Clapton first met Duane Allman and invited him to the sessions, and it's when Clapton was stealing George Harrison's wife and writing music about her.  We, the fans, benefit greatly by these occurrences.  First off, there is the immortal Layla, then there are a handful of tracks that both guitar masters played on together, one will be featured today.  Why Does Love Got To Be So Sad.  Bad grammar, great track.  5:20pm or so, you're invited!  Out of town?  Listen live on-line.

The band in 1971: left to right Clapton, Bobby Whitlock, Jim Gordon and Carl Radle.
