Cocker Power – Today’s Vinyl Vault

"Cocker Power" was a term circulating the music industry in the early 1970's when Joe Cocker was enjoying immense popularity stemming from his knock-out performance at Woodstock.  Sadly though, he enjoyed just as many belts of booze, which may have cut off the peak years a little early.  Even though he's had a few big hits since, 1972 was the end of those magic early days.  Today's track, High Time We Went, was part of a compilation (left) that year due to the fact that Cocker was in no shape to make an entire album.  Let's tip our hats to the old guy today, who's doing great.  5:20pm, either on US1031 or live on-line.
