A community Easter Eve Fair hosted by Columbiaville United Methodist Church will be held Saturday, March 31 (3/31) from 1 PM - 3 PM. Admission is free. You're invited to attend an afternoon of egg coloring, Easter hats, face painting, games, cookie decorating, crafts and more.

The Easter tradition of decorating Easter eggs on Saturday and hunting for them with children on Sunday morning by which time they have been mysteriously hidden all over the house and garden is celebrated throughout the world according to Wikipedia. Other traditions involve parents telling their children that eggs and other treats such as chocolate eggs or rabbits and marshmallow chicks have been delivered by the Easter Bunny in an Easter basket which children find waiting for them when they wake up.
