My name is Jackie Wallace. I am the manager of a band called 34Bliss. They are a young band with ties to the Lapeer area. They are making some noise in the Detroit area and I thought it might be of interest to you. My daughter known professionally as Rocquel (Mariah Raquel Wallace) is the lead singer and a 2010 graduate of Lapeer East, now a commuting freshman at Oakland University. The drummer, Palmer Krehel, is a current student at Lapeer West. They record/play original music as well as some covers. They record in Rochester Hills at Metro 37 Studio and have played most of their shows on the east side of Detroit. They have opened up for national bands such as Critical Bill, Ritchie Nix and Evans Blue. 34Bliss and Rocquel are both on FaceBook and there are several videos on YouTube. At this point, they haven't done many shows in the Flint/Lapeer area. Below is a link to a cool video of a Heart cover from a show at MoDoggies in Fenton last month.
