Courser Will Run For Seat He Resigned: ‘For Shame’[VIDEOS]

He’s baaack. Todd Courser filed an application at the Lapeer County Clerk’s Office this afternoon to run for the seat he resigned one week ago. An opinion of the Flint Journal Editorial Board beginning with “Have they no dignity?” was posted on mlive.com today. It goes on to say "he’s further embarrassing himself and the Lapeer district he used to represent." Read the editorial in its entirety below.

“Have they no dignity?

It wasn’t disgrace enough that former Rep. Todd Courser ran out of Lansing ahead of a forced expulsion a week ago. Now, he’s further embarrassing himself and the Lapeer district he used to represent by filing to run for election to the seat he vacated. His paramour, ex-Rep. Cindy Gamrat, who was expelled from the House on the same day, chose the same path to perdition Thursday.

What more can be said about their extramarital affair, the cover-up, the ongoing Attorney General’s investigation and now these Republicans’ pathetic, grasping attempts to regain public power?

For shame.
