CPR Brings Koala Bear Back To Life

This is the story of one lucky koala bear. Near Melbourne, Australia firemen and wildlife rescuers were called to the scene of a koala stuck up a tree. The koala had been hit by a car before climbing up the tree.

The critter lost consciousness and fell from the tree and was caught by the firemen in a blanket. They thought the koala was dead but wildlife officers then began given mouth-to-mouth resuscitation, oxygen and chest compression. The little guy was brought back around and is now recovering at a nearby animal hospital.
