Since several area school districts will be closed in observance of Martin Luther King Day, the children’s department of the Marguerite deAngeli Library on West Nepessing Street in Lapeer will be hosting a drop-in craft program for all aged children on Monday, January 19th, from 2 until 4 p.m.

The staff from the children’s department will be offering supplies and directions to make a variety of winter-themed make-and-take crafts. If parents are looking for something to do with their children on a cold weekday afternoon, they are invited to bring them to the library for this warm craft time. There is no charge for the program which is open to all. For more information, contact (810) 664-6971, ext. 3210.
