David Bowie's first recording that he appeared on singing sold recently for big bucks.

According to Omega Auctions the song titled ‘I Never Dreamed’ was recorded when David was 16 years old going by his birth name David Jones and he was part of band called The Konrads. The drummer/manager of the group David Hadfield found the tape when he was in the process of moving. The tape was in bread basket that was uncovered in the loft of his garage.
So Mr. Hadfield decided to put it up for auction thinking he might get lucky and maybe it might go for $10,000. The auction house thought they might get that dollar amount and they both were proved wrong. Due to what was called a “bidding frenzy” the tape sold for over five times the estimate. The winning bid was a little over $51,500.
