Deep Purple Establishes Heavy Metal Rock 43 Years Ago

This week in 1973, Deep Purple was riding high with success worldwide. Here in the U.S.A. on the album charts ‘Made In Japan’ was at #6 just above ‘Machine Head’ holding onto the #7 position. The band was kicking into gear Heavy Metal Rock that’s still alive well.

Deep Purple is on tour and will be at Caesar’s Casino in Windsor on August 21st.
