We were all moved by the Dodge Ram commercial that aired during the Superbowl. The one that was voiced by the legendary Paul Harvey, and paid tribute to farmers. Well, it didn't take long for someone in radio to reinvent the spot and take it in a new direction, as a self-depreciating tribute to DJs everywhere.

It was an especially nice touch, since the narrator in the Ram ad, PAUL HARVEY, was himself a radio legend.  But where did the bit come from?    It came from the magnificent mind of Rick Rumble of WNOR in Norfolk, Virginia.  Rumble wrote, voiced and produced 'God Made a DJ' for his show, and graciously shared it with the world on Tuesday, February 5th.  After hundreds of the nation's top radio personalities played 'God Made a DJ' on their shows, the brilliant bit went viral.

'God Made a DJ' was uploaded as a sound file to SoundCloud, referenced countless times on Facebook, and recreated and re-posted on YouTube.

But is Rick Rumble pissed?  This handsome, humble, comedic genius had this to say, "Feelin' the love from radio guys means a great deal.  I respect what you do every day.  Enthusiasm is contagious.  Thanks for the boost."
