Downtown Flint is the Place to Be On St. Patrick’s Day

Starting at noon on Sunday, Downtown Flint will be flooded with green shirts and plenty of good spirits as everyone's favorite Irish holiday will be celebrated in grand fashion.

Similar to the festivities that took place on New Years Eve, the flat lot on Saginaw St. will be the center of a huge celebration hosted by the Downtown Development Authority and Townsquare Media.

In addition to the dancing and entertainment in the heated beer tent -- opening for business at noon -- on the flat lot, plenty of bars in the downtown area will be participating as well. You can pick up a passport at the beer tent and then get it stamped at a few of the area bars for a chance at the $1,200 pot of gold prize pack. Other activities include the Little Blarney Trot (kids run) at 4:30pm and the Pot O' Gold 4 Mile Walk/Run at 5:00p.

The St. Patty's Day festivities run from 12p - 8p, but Downtown will likely be hopping long after that. So come join us for St. Patrick's Day in Downtown Flint this Sunday!
