Eco Days & Native Plant Sale This Weekend
Where can you do some solar observing, purchase native woodland and prarie plants, make your own trail mix before hiking the trails, build your own bird house or nesting platform, get a first hand look at bee hives, see what bugs live in the water and maybe catch a few, dissect owl pellets, create a masterpiece with sidewalk chalk and bring a bag of your stuff to swap all on the same day? The answer is Eco Days & Native Plant Sale at Seven Ponds Nature Center this Saturday (5/14) and Sunday (5/15) from 10 AM - 5 PM. For more information visit sevenponds.org or see below. Admission is $3 for adults, free for members and children 12 and under. Seven Ponds Nature Center is located at 3854 Crawford Road in Dryden.

DRYDEN COLOR ME GREEN
Dryden School students will have a hands-on booth to demonstrate the green way.
Bring a bag or two of stuff (books, toys, kitchen items, etc) and take a bag or two home with you.
INTRO TO BEEKEEPING WITH SEVEN PONDS BEEKEEPERS CLUB
3 PM - 5 PM
Learn all about beekeeping from hives to gear and than suit up for a first hand look at Seven Ponds hives.
INTRO TO NATURE PHOTOGRAPHY WITH SEVEN PONDS CAMERA CLUB
1:30 PM - 2:30 PM
Bring your cameras and take a walk with camera club members and one of Seven Ponds’ naturalists to learn different techniques as well as some natural history.
NATIVE PLANT SALE
10 AM - 5 PM
There will be a large selection of woodland and prairie flower plants for purchase. There will also be people knowledgeable on native planting to help with any questions. If interested in the plant list, contact the center close to sale dates.
ORGANIC HERB GARDENING WITH THE FRIENDS OF HERBS

Learn all about planting and growing an herb garden without any chemicals while in the nature center’s herb garden.
