Elton John To Host Saturday Night Live

Elton John will be rehearsing this week with the cast and crew of Saturday Night Live, where he is expected to host and perform.  Plan accordingly!  Elsewhere:

HE LOVES GARDENS, HATES GARDENING

Friday was his 64^th birthday. One of the Rocket Man’s recent projects was lending his voice and music to the film Gnomeo & Juliet, which tells the story of Romeo & Juliet with garden gnomes. Elton revealed that he’s loved gardens since his youth.

“I grew up at my grandmother’s house and it was a beautiful garden but I used to hate mowing the lawn and weeding which is what you do when you’re a kid and I loathe them. And I loathe gardening but I love gardens and I have two beautiful gardens but I cannot bear gardening.”

Gnomeo & Juliet is still in theaters.
