Alice Cooper is a Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, but he could have made music history for something else entirely.  Alice tells London's "Daily Mirror" he once thought Elvis Presley wanted him to kill him.  Cooper says the incident occurred about 40 years ago in a Las Vegas penthouse where the two musicians met for the first time.  Elvis reportedly escorted Cooper into his kitchen and handed him a loaded pistol. The King  then asked Alice to hold the weapon up to his head.  Cooper jokes that -- for a moment -- his younger self contemplated the "history" he'd make by shooting Elvis.  Just then, Cooper says Elvis performed a "flying kick" on the weapon.  He then tripped Alice and pinned him to the ground before pointing out that that was how to "stop a man with a gun."
