Keith Emerson, Greg Lake and Carl Palmer put together one of the most unique bands in rock back in 1970.  Keyboards up front, guitars, if any, way in back.  It worked, being that art rock, or progressive rock, was still in it's infancy.  Having a big hit with Lucky Man right from the start sent these guys on their way, ending up being one of the most successful prog-rock acts of the 1970's.  Several ELP tracks became late night FM fare, including today's wickedly heavy (for ELP), Knife Edge, from that same album.  Out of town?  Easy.  Listen live on-line.
