Seven Ponds Nature Center in Dryden has all sorts events going on for wintertime fun. Snowshoe Walk happens on Sunday, January 11, 2:00 p.m. Exploring the nature center's trails on snowshoes is a lot of fun. Bring your own snowshoes, or use a pair of ours for this naturalist-led winter hike. If there is not sufficient snow, we'll take a winter hike anyway.

Knee-High Naturalists – Snow takes place Friday, Jan. 16 or Saturday, Jan. 24, 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. This series allows adults to explore nature with their 3 and 4-year-old children. This month, we'll learn about snow through a story, game, craft, and hike. A themed treat and fun are also on the schedule. Fee: $7.00 per child ($6.00 member). Pre-registration is required. Call the center at 810-796-3200.

Tracking Walk takes place Sunday, January 18, 2:00 p.m. Thanks to the presence of snow, winter is the best time to see evidence of animal activity in the forests and fields. Our weekend naturalist will help you understand the many stories to be found in the snow.
