The "No Reason To Cry" album from 1976 wasn't one of Clapton's biggest sellers, but sure turned out to be an interesting one. It's notable for Bob Dylan's involvement, along with his old backing band, The Band. It may be unlike any other Clapton album, even with his trusted female vocal duo of Yvonne Elliman and Marcy Levy on board.  The response I remember was only lukewarm and then nearly forgotten after the release of the mega hit "Slowhand" a year later.  One lone single did well on the radio that year before it too, was laid to rest.  (Tough business!)  Tune by for "Hello Old Friend", either on the air or on-line, and see if you recall it.
