DESCRIPTION:Head to the Lapeer Country Club on Friday\, May 18th at 7:00 PM to enjoy live entertainment along with beer and wine sampling.  It’s the second annual Corkscrews and Brews Beer and Wine tasting event. The event is raising money for The Child Advocacy Center of Lapeer with silent and live auctions. Jaime Marvin will be the live entertainment. Samples of Michigan Craft beer and International Wines will be available. Remember to wear “Cocktail Casual” attire.    It’s all brought to you by The Child Advocacy Center of Lapeer County\, Food Bank of Eastern Michigan\, and Marathon.

DESCRIPTION:[caption id="attachment_95952" align="aligncenter" width="630"] flickr.com[/caption]    Lapeer County Sheriffs Deputy Shawn King’s wife Sara has been diagnosed with a very rare and fatal autoimmune disorder. They have 6 kids and are in financial need. The Lapeer County Sheriffs Deputies have started a foundation and have planned fundraisers to assist in the costs related to this disorder.    On Saturday September 22nd there will be a couple fundraisers for the Deputy King Family. First a Bake Sale at Walmart in Lapeer from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Then the activities will continue Saturday with a concert by Deputy Chris Eilersen at Calvellis in Lapeer.
