Visual Poetry – Intuition Based art by Diane Marie Kramer is Diane’s first full gallery exhibit at Gallery 194. Kramer is a first generation American, Born in Detroit, Michigan and now lives in Howell. She relocated to Northern California after High School, where she began a long journey studying the Visual Fine Arts. Diane has been awarded several honors including being recognized at the VSA Arts International Festival in Washington D.C., receiving the KVIE Art award from Sacramento California, and twice receiving the Robinson Witt Award from CSU.

Diane Marie Kramer’s work at Gallery 194 is a mixture of sculpture, paintings and mixed media. Visitors are encouraged to get close to the work and take a close look at each piece. Diane says that much of what she creates today stems from her experiences as a young girl and her close connections with her mother and grandmother who would tell her stories of their lives as a daily ritual.

Visual Poetry – Intuition Based Art by Diane Marie Kramer will be on display for the public to enjoy through August 30th. Gallery 194 is located at the corner of Court and West Nepessing Streets in downtown Lapeer next to the historic Pix Theatre.
