Fans Weigh In On Significance Of The Super Bowl

Just how much would you want to actually be in the stands if your favorite team were playing in the Super Bowl? Nearly a quarter of the respondents in a new CouponCabin.com poll say they'd give up a vacation to go to the game, while 21-percent would skip out on "an important work responsibility."  Two in ten would dodge the wedding of a close friend or family member, and 19-percent would miss a loved one's funeral.  Fifteen-percent admit they'd bypass the birth of their own child in favor of the Super Bowl.  Nearly 40-percent consider the Super Bowl to be "the best major sporting event."  By comparison, just nine-percent would give that title to baseball's World Series.  Two-thirds of the men as well as 46-percent of the women say they'll be tuning in to see the big game this year.  Super Bowl 46 will feature the New York Giants and the New England Patriots at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis on February 5th.
