Far Out Foreigner – Today’s Vinyl Vault
Foreigner burst on the scene in 1977 and was a hit immediately. Their unique brand of pop rock featuring both synthesizers and guitars was a welcome mix that year; far removed from the crap on the charts at that time. Six members; three Americans and three Brits, hence the name. A stand out track from the debut that year was Starrider, a rock radio fave at first but was shelved in favor of Feels Like The First Time and Cold As Ice. Not kidding! Let's roll it again today around 5:20pm. Out of town? Listen live on-line.
