Fatal Accident In Elba Township
Wednesday night on Hadley Road north of Lippincott Road, a pickup driven by a 76 year old man from Linden according to Lapeer County Sheriff crossed the center line and sideswiped another vehicle. He than left the road and crashed head on into a tree.
Gary Howd of Linden was pronounced dead at an area hospital.
The driver of the other car and her 10 year old daughter were not hurt.
