Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water, this horribly named fish is in the Great Lakes.

The DNR were receiving reports of a fish that has human-like teeth and is hunting the dreams. So far, three of these fish have been reported in the last month in Southeastern Michigan waterways. The fish is called a pacu, it is mostly in in South America and is related to the piranha. These pacu are getting in our waterways because people are keeping the fish as pets, and when they outgrow the tank, they are releasing them into the wild. They are not classified as invasive, so it should be good, but these fish will not last the hard Michigan winters.

Creepy, huh? Well, keep reading, it gets better. Pacu's, use their nightmare inducing teeth to mainly eat nuts and seeds, they should not attack humans even thought they are related to the piranha. A favorite of evil scientist and Bond villains. But here's what I found to be unsettling, the actual nickname of this fish is the 'testicle-eating' fish.

Yes. You read correctly, the 'testicle-eating' fish.
