Flint Police say they were forced to use drastic measures to stop a loose dog that had bitten three people.

The pit bull, whose owners have faced numerous complaints about her biting children and running loose, reportedly hopped the fence and bit two children and an adult Thursday. When police were called, one officer fired a shot at the dog, but was unable to stop it. Officers say they then had no choice but to run over the animal, in order to prevent her from harming more people.
