Flint residents that haven't paid their water bill are being told to pay up or their water will be shut off until payment is received.

The City of Flint is warning 31 residents to pay their water bill or their services will end beginning April 10th. In a recent news release the city states that the shut-off notice is going out to 31 customers who haven't made payments for at least 15 months.

Past-due payments range from $2,030 to $5,653. In order for residents to keep their water running they must not only pay the current amount due, but also a 10% of the past-due balance.

Water services will be shut off by the first week of April at two apartment complexes and 18 residences in Flint.
